Driving In The Fog

As I traveled down the freeway, the fog was so thick that I could only see about a half mile in front. First I would see a vague shape of a sign. Then as it came nearer, I would watch it become more and more defined. Finally as the sign was right upon me it was suddenly clear and easy to read... Then it was gone.

Driving In The Fog Commentary:

The future is like the sign in this story. Events loom vaguely in the future and as time draws them near, they become more and more real and lifelike. When the event is upon us it is clearest of all. Then it passes so quickly! The past is forever behind us.
